About us
HOA management has run the same way since the 1950s. We didn’t think it should.
Elevate Community Management was founded in 2025 by two people with over sixty combined years around associations and residential construction — and strong opinions about how communities deserve to be treated.
Our story
Homeowners associations are older than most people think — planned communities with shared rules date back to the late 1940s. The management industry that grew up to serve them settled early into a shape it has mostly kept: one manager spread across too many communities, financial reports that arrive late and read like they were written to be skimmed, and boards left to chase their own vendors, records and answers.
Our founders watched that pattern for decades from opposite vantage points. Steve spent more than forty years working with homeowners associations and management companies — long enough to see exactly where the relationship between a community and its manager breaks down. Dmitriy spent more than twenty years in residential construction, a licensed general contractor at 23, building and renovating the very kinds of homes associations exist to protect — and frequently working alongside HOAs that were being poorly served on the projects he built.
In 2025 they started Elevate to run association management the way a good job site runs: a written plan, named accountability, money tracked to the penny, and work inspected before it is paid for. No inherited habits, no legacy software, no book of five hundred accounts to protect — just the standard they always thought the industry owed its communities.
The name is the promise. The goal is not to manage your community; it is to elevate how it runs — for the board that governs it and the owners who live in it.
What we hold ourselves to
Four commitments, stated so you can measure us against them.
Improve communication
Clear channels, stated response times, and modern tools that keep owners informed. A published standard — replies within one business day — that we expect boards to hold us to.
Financial transparency
Monthly, detailed financial reporting to the whole board. Association-owned accounts, reserves held separately, and numbers presented so a non-accountant can question them.
Reliable vendors
Vetted, insured trades selected on leveled bids. No markups, no referral fees — a bid reaches your board exactly as it reached us.
Concerns handled promptly
Every owner inquiry tracked from intake to resolution, so nothing depends on someone remembering. Responsiveness is a system, not a personality trait.
A new firm, and why that’s the point
We won’t pretend to be something we aren’t: Elevate is a young company. We think that is a feature. Every community we take on gets founding-team attention, because there is no anonymous middle of the roster to be lost in. Our processes were designed this decade, for how boards and owners actually communicate now. And our reputation is being built on the communities we serve today — which is the strongest service guarantee a management company can offer.
What we bring that is not young: four decades around association operations, two decades running construction projects, and the scar tissue from watching what happens when either is done carelessly. Meet the people behind that on our team page, or see how the experience translates into practice in our services.
